Construction Division:

Proposal Coordinator

As a proposal coordinator, you will help manage and design business proposals. You will assist in the design, storage, and finalizing of completed business proposals.Proposal Coordinator duties come with strict deadlines, as well as strict requirements to meet clients' quality standards and detailed requirements. When you are writing a proposal, you are proposing that DMC Consultants, Inc is the right team for a particular project or job. You may be designing a proposal for a contracted project, or simply making a bid for available work. You will explain why DMC Consultants, Inc business is the correct company to provide goods and/or services to another company that is in need of those goods and services. While proposals are not binding contracts, they are used to create the contracts if and when they are accepted.

Major Responsibilities

� Responsible for establishing DMC Consultants, Inc guidelines, vision, and financial outline for completed proposals. 
� The proposals are usually created with a timeframe, and many times you will be working with a team to complete the proposal before a deadline. 
� Work to communicate the proposal in various ways, including graphic layouts and PowerPoint presentations. 
� Developing a template for all future proposals or ensuring that an established template is followed. 
� Work to ensure that deadlines are met. 
� In many situations, you could be working on multiple proposals at the same time. 
� Communicating the progress of proposals to management. 

Accountant

Major Responsibilities

� Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances. 
� Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries. 
� Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; verifying federal id numbers; scheduling and preparing checks; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memos. 
� Pays employees by receiving and verifying expense reports and requests for advances; preparing checks. 
� Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions. 
� Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions. 
� Maintains historical records by filing documents. 
� Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities. 
� Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed. 
� Handling incoming calls and visitors and during absent of the staff. 

Requirements:

� 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience 
� High school diploma required, college courses in accounting preferred 
� Must have strong work ethics 
� Must be well organized and a self-starter 
� Must be able to follow standard filing procedures 
� Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable 
� Proficient in Excel and Word. 
� Ability to type 60-65 wpm 
� Possess strong organizational and time management skills 
� Strong problem solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills 
� Knowledge of Quick Books, helpful but not necessary. 
� Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing 
� Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner 
� Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness 
� Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division quickly and accurately. 

Senior Project Manager

To expand our construction division, we have an immediate opening of a Senior Project Manager for its construction division. The candidate should have at least 10 years of experience handling commercial construction projects including renovations and new construction size (1MM and above), as a Project Manager.  The candidate should be well versed with Microsoft Office & Projects. Experience working with government/federal funded project is highly preferred. A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is must. A Professional Engineer (P.E) will be a preference.

What we’re looking for: 

� Broad experience in directing performance-driven design professionals and project teams 
� History of successfully implementing and managing budgets, procurement and controlling costs while increasing profitability 
� Skilled in developing, negotiating and managing prime contracts while managing risks 
� Proficient in developing and analyzing complex project schedules to ensure that the critical path is accurately targeted
� Extensive background in comprehensive estimating and bid/proposal evaluation and project procurement 

Project Supervisor 

No of positions available: 1

For the growing construction business the construction division has an opening of a Project Supervisor. The candidate should have at least 6 years of experience working as a supervisor and independently handling commercial projects. Experience working with education/medical projects will be prefered. The candidate should have experience conducting the tool room meetings and ensuring job safety. He/She should have expertise reviewing the blue-prints and specifications. They should also be having basic computer knowledge to communicate via emails. A degree in construction is preferred. The selected candidate will be responsible for the ensuring the execution of the project as per the construction schedule and would need to coordinate with client and trades. He/She will also be responsible for attending the project progress meetings and project safety. 30 hrs OSHA will be preference. The supervisor will be reporting to the Project Manager and will be responsible for handling multiple projects.

Demolition Division:

Operator (Excavator/Dozers)

No of positions available: 1

Minimum 2 Year Experience.  Assist with demolition and load out. Should have past experience operating excavators and wrecking in the City of Detroit.The candidate should have a valid drivers licence and should be able to clear the background check and Drug test. 

Drivers (CDL-A )

No of positions available: 2

We have current opening for an experienced qualified CDL-A Driver with a valid health card and clean driving record. Candidate must have Heavy Haul, Quad Axle Lead, Lo-Boy & Gravel Train Experience. Driver must be able to maintain log book as well as vehicle inspection reports. The candidate must have minimum of 3 years of experience.
