Asbestos Abatement Services – Capitol, North, Secondary Complexes & Metro Region
DESCRIPTION
State of Michigan (DTMB) awards DMC a 3 year Contract for Asbestos Abatement Services at capitol, Secondary and North Complexes in Lansing, Michigan, as well as the Metro Region. The Metro Region consists of four counties that include Wayne, Oakland, Macomb and Port Huron. This is an optional use contract for all state department entities and agencies. Work under this contract is on task basis and to be commenced within 24 hours. The Contract is for a period of 3 years beginning June 1, 2014 through May 31, 2017. The Contract may be renewed for up to 2 additional 1 year periods.

Removal of asbestos containing material, re-insulating with asbestos free products and reinstalling labels as identified by EPA, MIOSHA, and DEQ and other State of Michigan Construction Standards.

Disposal of asbestos containing material

Lead Based Paint Removal (Selected)

Mold Remediation (Selected)

Removal of Block/Drywall walls, doors, ceiling, carpet, wood mezzanine in high bay area.

Scraping of loose LBP from walls and ceiling in boiler to prepared for painting.

Sealing all openings.

Pipe and Duct Labeling.

Valve Labeling.
