Mike Chaudhary

President/CEO

An entrepreneur at-heart, DMC’s Co-founder, CEO, & President Mike has been the visionary leader of the company from its conception on November 10, 2005. After completing his bachelors in both Law and Commerce from Gujarat University, Mike completed his education by obtaining an MBA and began his first entrepreneurial venture within the world of finance. After immigrating to the USA directly to the City of Detroit, Mike sold his first business and entered the world of construction, spending a few years learning about the trade while building relationships with clients and vendors. Mike’s philosophy is simple: work diligently with integrity, follow the Golden Rule, and have fun along the way. This philosophy has become a part of DMC’s core values since its inception. 

Mike’s experience totals over 28 years, with 10 dedicated to Finance and Marketing and more than 18 years in the Construction and Environmental Remediation Industry. Mike directly oversees the progress of all current projects at the company. When he’s not working—which is his true favorite hobby—Mike enjoys spending time with family and volunteering. 

Yash Chaudhary

Senior Project Manager

A dynamic member of the DMC team, Yash Chaudhary was raised in a construction household and has been visiting jobsites as far back as he remembers. After graduating from Wayne State University with his BS in Civil Engineering (‘18), Yash located to Los Angeles to begin work on his MS in Construction Management at the University of Southern California and worked at Whiting-Turner. Yash was a part of numerous Data Center and Retail Redevelopment projects with Whiting-Turner and rejoined the DMC team to focus his efforts on helping rebuild his hometown of Detroit. Aside from his professional career, Yash is also a musician and enjoys traveling/trying new foods. 

Darshita Chaudhary

CFO

DMC’s first CEO/Co-Founder, Darshita, has been an integral part of the company in diligently managing the finances and setting up a company culture filled with integrity and hard work. After receiving her BS in Accounting, Darshita spent years working in Accounting/Finance at multiple firms between the USA & India. Upon beginning the business with Mike back in 2005, Darshita helped ensure DMC reached profitability in its early years. In her free time, Darshita enjoys reading books, listening to music, or trying out new recipes for her family to enjoy.

Areeg Khdair

Manager – Business Development

Areeg Khdair has been a critical part of DMC’s Business Development team since she started in 2019. After graduating from the University of Michigan Dearborn, she spent her career building up her marketing skills in both the US and Overseas. In addition to this, she works extensively in demolition planning and coordination, often acting as liaison between DMC and the City of Detroit for the Demolition Program. In her free time, Areeg loves spending quality time with her family. 

Alex White

Business Development

Working primarily on the Business and Development side of the company, Alex White has been with DMC since the summer of 2019. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Michigan State University and is responsible for constructing the proposals for each bid DMC submits for a project, as well as handling the required paperwork for the submissions. When she isn’t working, Alex spends her time funneling her paycheck directly into Barnes and Noble purchases, playing the Sims, and moving as little as possible. 

Rachel Mcgowan

Manager – HR/Accounting

Rachel began her career in accounting/HR, rising to an Executive Director role at an Urgent Care Management Company for over 10 years. Rachel’s expertise includes accounting, HR, Property Management, Office Management, & Payroll. In her free time, Rachel enjoys crafting, home improvement projects, hosting events, and spending time with family. 

Don Wortham

Manager – Field Operations

Donald Wortham joins the DMC team as a Demolition Field Manager, bringing over 35 years of experience in the Demolition Industry. His knowledge and skills to manage, develop, and maintain site operations provide a high degree of accuracy and efficiency to the demo operations. 

Robert Fox

Manager – Finance/Audit

Robert Fox has over 50 years of experience in accounting/finance. After receiving his BA in accounting from Michigan State University and CPA license in 1971, Robert has worked in retail, manufacturing, construction, and public accounting. Robert joined the DMC team in 2009 and spent many years helping lead the Accounting Department alongside Darshita, while mentoring others. He mostly enjoys spending time with family and grandkids.

Billy Verschatse

Manager – Field Operations

Billy has been in the demolition/underground and trucking industry since 1993. During these years, Billy has learned about all aspects of the industry from bidding/subcontractor negotiations to scheduling/managing projects of all sizes. Billy joined the DMC team in 2010 and has played an integral part in developing the high-volume Demolition division within the company with clients including the City of Detroit, State of Michigan, and beyond. In his free time, Billy’s hobbies include hot rods, cooking, and spending quality time with his family. 

Nasser Alremaih

Project Manager

Nasser is a project engineer who seeks to expand his skills and gain valuable real-world experience in construction project management. He received his Bachelor of Science in Surveying Engineering from Civil Engineering Department at King Saud University in 2019. In addition, he is pursuing a master’s degree in engineering management at Lawrence Tech University.

He is an innovative and hardworking individual, receptive to knowledge, and passionate about the construction industry. Since he started working at DMC consultants, he has been working directly with project managers to ensure quality control and provide occasional quality assurance. During leisure time, Nasser enjoys playing and watching soccer with his family and friends. 

Vince Runde

Project Safety Coordinator

Vince Runde has worked with DMC for several years on numerous projects as a Project Safety Coordinator.

A multitalented individual, Mr. Runde has over 33 years of experience in Safety Management and is a Licensed Lead Inspector and a Certified Hazardous Material Manager. His skills include training, consulting and compliance assistance with OSHA, EPA and DOT regulations dealing with hazardous materials and hazardous situations.

Jacqualine Lewis

Accounts Payable

Jacqualine is an Atlanta native, joined the DMC team to expand her adventure into the construction field after spending time as an accountant in the hotel hospitality industry.

Before joining DMC in 2022, Jacqualine worked as a dual property accountant in the hotel/hospitality industry, where she honed her accounting skills. Moving to the Motor City inspired her to pursue a challenging and rewarding career in the construction industry. Jacqualine received her bachelor’s degree from Shorter University and her MBA with a concentration in Finance from Strayer University.

In her free time, Jacqualine enjoys spending time with her family, bowling, reading, and trying new restaurants.

Sha'nae Williams

Project Assistant

Sha’Nae is a New York city native who has recently moved to Michigan. Prior to being in Michigan she attended Post University to study Early Childhood Education. She worked for the New York city Parks & Recreation and an out-patient drug rehabilitation center. She has joined DMC Demolition team as a project assistant and in her down time Sha’Nae enjoys being a mother to her children and loves the fine arts.

Denisa Lami

Business Development

Denisa joined DMC in 2023 as part of the Business Development team. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economic-Informatics and brings experience in sales, marketing, and client relations. In her role, she assists with proposal development, reviews RFP opportunities, coordinates marketing initiatives, and manages DMC’s social media presence.

She enjoys supporting DMC’s business development efforts and helping create opportunities for the company’s continued growth. Denisa values collaboration and takes an active role in building strong relationships with clients, partners, and colleagues.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, playing volleyball, and reading.

Rupinder Kaur

Project Engineer

Rupinder is a Project engineer whose goal is to drive the world with new innovations and work precisely with perfection in the structural engineering world. She holds her degree in Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering and Master of Engineering in Structures overseas. Her specialization in Structural engineering pursues her path to the education profession where she served as Lecturer in Civil engineering department for three years. She believes in diversity, so she worked as a Structure Design Engineer where she designed water tanks multi-storey buildings, reinforced concrete, and steel structures. She holds prior experience as an Engineer under GLWA project named as Comprehensive Corrosion Control in a Pipe loop Study.

She is working with supervision by project managers to apply engineering concepts, principles, practices and procedures associated with construction of residential and commercial construction projects.  She supports engineering tasks as well as the demolition department. On leisure, she loves to paint, enjoys cooking, and adores spending time with her family.

Majid Shaukat

Project Supervisor

Majid is a passionate project manager and business developer with experience in property demolition and rehabilitation, with a strong track record of managing demolition projects, overseeing site safety, and coordinating rehabilitation efforts. After completing education at Government Islamia College in Pakistan, Majid moved to America to seek out better business opportunities and establish his American dream. Majid has over 30 years of experience in the world of construction and project management and enjoys what he does every single day. When not working, Majid enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.

Jayraj Patel

Project Engineer

Jayraj, a dynamic construction professional. He completed his MS in civil engineering from Cleveland State University. Jay gained his experience at Laksh Group of Construction from 2020 to 2022. Moving forward achieving the things, he joined DMC and looking ahead to achieve goals. Apart from profession JD loves to play cricket, volleyball and social activities.

Alex Howard

Superintendent

Alex Howard is a seasoned professional in the dynamic realm of general contracting with a rich tapestry of experience spanning over seven years. With an unwavering commitment to excellence, Alex has emerged as a stalwart in the industry, specializing in commercial, industrial, state, and federal construction projects.

Renowned for expertise in overseeing a diverse array of endeavors, Alex brings a unique blend of skill and innovation to every project. From comprehensive renovations to cutting-edge design-to-suit initiatives and expansive construction undertakings, Alex has consistently demonstrated a keen understanding of the intricacies of the construction landscape.

Beyond the construction site, Alex is a devoted family man who finds joy in spending quality time with loved ones, he loves music and sports.He also volunteers every year as a coach with special Olympics.

Mohamed Hegab

Senior Project Engineer

Mohamed is a Senior Project Engineer who is always passionate about Construction and Project Management. After completing his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, he worked in construction management overseas for 4 years in Middle Eastern Local and Multinational companies. He obtained his PMP certification in 2022 and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in construction management at Lawrence Technological University.
He is looking forward to expanding his knowledge and experience with DMC. Being an active team player to assist keeping the quality, schedule, cost, scope and effective communication on track.

When He’s not working, Mohamed enjoys spending quality time with his family and playing soccer with his friends.

Kaylan Reeves

Project Assistant

Born and raised in Detroit, Kaylan returned home after perfecting her organizational and adaptive learning skills throughout her career. She spends her days assisting other team members with enthusiasm and curiosity. Previously working in representative roles for larger companies, Kaylan prefers the intricacies of family-owned companies like DMC . Her aspiration is to grow and perfect her skills even further, contributing to the success and growth of DMC.

During her free time, she enjoys creating works of art for small galleries, spending time with her two dogs, and singing karaoke with friends and family.

Aditi Naik

Project Engineer

Aditi is a dedicated project engineer eager to broaden her expertise and gain practical experience in construction project management. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology and  Master’s degree in Construction Management from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Aditi is recognized for her innovation and hard work, with a strong enthusiasm for the construction industry. At DMC Consultants, she works closely with project managers to effectively communicate and manage project schedules, costs, and scopes, ensuring quality control. In her free time, Aditi enjoys watching movies, listening to music, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.

Dipendra Khadka

Project Engineer

Dipendra is a committed Project Engineer with a deep passion for the Construction Industry. He holds a B. Tech in Civil Engineering and has recently earned his master’s degree in construction management from California State University East Bay. Since joining DMC Consultants, he has collaborated closely with the Project Manager to ensure the success and efficiency of projects.

In his spare time, Dipendra enjoys traveling and participating in outdoor activities.

Eric White

Superintendent

Eric is a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Superintendent known for his strong leadership, mentorship, and accountability in the construction industry. With a robust background in interpreting plans and carpentry, Eric excels at foreseeing and resolving project complications while maintaining project goals and timelines. His expertise spans commercial, municipal, and residential construction, where he adeptly coordinates subcontractors and ensures compliance with specifications. Throughout his career, Eric has successfully overseen numerous notable projects within the State of Michigan.

Jalin White

Project Assistant

Born and raised in Detroit, Jalin cultivated a strong sense of independence as an only child, which shaped his goal-oriented nature. He pursued his Law & Society degree at Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA, before joining the DMC team. Prior to this role, he gained valuable experience working as a Content Moderator for TikTok.

As one of the newest members of DMC, Jalin is enthusiastic about his role as a Project Assistant, eager to bring his unique skills and perspectives to the team.

Outside of work, Jalin has a passion for photography, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.

Ray Amro

Project Engineer

Ray is an ambitious intern currently working at DMC. With interest in project management and Civil engineering he is eager to gain hands on expertise in the construction industry. Ray is known for his strong work ethic, problem solving skills and attention to detail, which make him an asset to the team. At DMC group he is actively involved in various projects, learning the ins and outs of site operations and collaborating closely with professionals. Ray embraces every opportunity to learn and contribute to building projects, driven by a desire to turn blueprints into reality. In his free time he enjoys reading about the latest industry trends and traveling around the world.

Mohammad Smidi

Project Engineer

Mohammad is a skilled Project Engineer with a strong background in civil engineering. He graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering from Prince Mohammed Bin Fahd University, where he developed a deep understanding of the technical and practical aspects of construction and infrastructure projects. Over the course of his career, Mohammed has gained valuable international experience, working on a variety of projects overseas. His expertise spans project management, structural design, and site supervision, where he has successfully contributed to the completion of large-scale construction projects in diverse environments.
Outside of work, Mohammed is a passionate soccer player and a huge Real Madrid fan.

Shanelle Dale

Project Engineer

Shanelle is a Project Engineer who earned her Civil Engineering degree from the University of the West Indies in 2023. Over the past year, she has gained valuable experience as a Civil Engineer in Jamaica, contributing to projects in coastal engineering, civil design, and project management. Now, as a Project Engineer at DMC, Shanelle is eager to expand her expertise in the construction project management industry. Her enthusiasm for learning, technical expertise, and adaptability make her an invaluable asset to every project she undertakes. She is passionate about taking on challenging projects and consistently delivering high-quality results while continuing to grow professionally.

Outside of work, Shanelle enjoys reading novels, watching television, and spending quality time with her family. Her commitment to both personal and professional growth reflects her well-rounded and driven personality.

Hassan Haider

Accounts Payable

Hassan brings over four years of experience in management and accounting to DMC Consultants Inc. He previously served as an Assistant and Accounting Manager at Reachers Cars & Minibuses Ltd in Watford, England, where he oversaw accounting operations and team leadership.

Hassan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geology and a Master’s in Petroleum Engineering from London South Bank University. He is currently pursuing an MBA in Accounting and Finance at the University of Michigan – Flint, further expanding his expertise in accounting & financial strategy and business operations.

Outside of work, Hassan enjoys traveling and exploring the natural world—whether it’s mountains, forests, or rivers—and values spending quality time with his family.

Ketan Bhatt

Project Manager

Ketan rejoined DMC Consultants in September 2025 and holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from M.S. University, India, and an MS in Computer Information Systems from the University of Detroit Mercy.
He is a PMP-certified leader with 25+ years of experience across product management, software delivery, construction, and hospitality operations.
Ketan has led large global teams, managed budgets up to $9M, and delivered complex, mission-critical solutions.
His background includes driving digital transformation and operational excellence at Ford Motor Company, with expertise in reliability, compliance, and production support.
He has successfully delivered construction projects ahead of schedule and under budget, secured high-value contracts, and led multi-hotel operations as COO/GM.
Known as a change agent and servant leader, Ketan consistently drives efficiency, cost savings, and strong team development.

Kenneth Franklin

Superintendent

Kenneth is a Construction Superintendent at DMC with more than 10 years of experience overseeing commercial and residential construction projects ranging from $500,000 to over $5 million. He manages daily field operations, project scheduling, subcontractor coordination, safety compliance, and quality control, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.

Recognized for his leadership, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence, Kenneth takes pride in building strong teams and delivering successful projects that positively impact the communities they serve.

Outside of construction, he is actively involved in youth development and community engagement through leadership roles in local youth sports organizations.

Tushe Arapi

ERP Management Executive

Tushe joined DMC in 2026 as an ERP Management Executive. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and a Master’s degree in Electric Drive Engineering, bringing a strong analytical and technical foundation to her role. Prior to joining DMC, she developed expertise in engineering, data analysis, and problem-solving through her academic and professional experiences.

At DMC, she is responsible for supporting and optimizing ERP systems, improving business processes, managing enterprise data, and helping drive operational efficiency across the organization.

In her free time, Tushe enjoys staying active through sports, learning about innovations in science, engineering, and business, and spending time with family and friends.

Vichae Nance

Office Administrator

Vicha’e, a Highland Park native, attended Wayne State University, where she developed an interest in business administration and began building a career focused on organization, communication, and client service. With nearly a decade of professional experience, she has developed strong skills in office management, customer relations, and administrative support.

As the Office Administrator at DMC Consultants, Vicha’e serves as the first point of contact for clients, vendors, and team members, helping to ensure smooth daily operations and a welcoming environment.

Known for her attention to detail, reliability, and strong interpersonal skills, Vicha’e plays an important role in supporting the team and contributing to the company’s success.

Outside of work, she is a professional singer and enjoys sharing her passion for music and performance through various creative opportunities.

Gavan O'neill

Project Engineer

Gavan is a construction management professional with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Northern Michigan University. He brings a strong combination of field experience, project coordination, and leadership skills to the DMC team. Prior to joining DMC, Gavan served as an Assistant Project Manager and Site Superintendent with J.S. Vig Construction, where he supported daily jobsite operations, project scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and quality control.

In addition to his construction experience, Gavan is the Co-Owner of ON Landscaping, LLC, where he has successfully managed a variety of residential and commercial projects. His hands-on approach, strong work ethic, and ability to adapt to the unique demands of each project make him a valuable asset throughout all phases of construction.

Chris Fettes

Superintendent

Chris is a Project Superintendent with DMC, bringing a diverse background in leadership, operations, and construction management. Prior to joining DMC, Chris served 10 years on active duty in the United States Marine Corps, where he developed strong leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in demanding environments.

Following his military service, Chris gained more than 5+ years of construction experience, including 3½ years with the City of Troy as a Pond Supervisor and Heavy Equipment Operator. In that role, he oversaw maintenance operations, managed field projects, and operated a variety of specialized equipment.

For the past 1½ years, Chris has served as a Project Superintendent with DMC, where he coordinates project activities, oversees field operations, and helps ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. His combination of military discipline, technical expertise, and hands-on construction experience makes him a valuable leader in the field.

In his free time Chris really enjoys golfing, fishing, and hunting! He values spending quality time with his significant other along with family and friends around a campfire watching any sporting activity!
