Description

DMC was retained as a general contractor by the City of Detroit (Planning and Development Department) to provide demolition and clearance activities that include residential and commercial buildings. All structures are located in the City of Detroit and within the boundaries of areas of greatest need specified under its Neighborhood Stabilization Program. .  Funding for sources for these services included Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) & Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP).

Scope Of Work

  • Demolishing all structures on the property with basement exterior walls, basement walls, basement, foundations, footings and slab-on-grade.
  • Removal and disposal ·of structures containing asbestos.
  • All debris are treated as asbestos contaminated material and disposed in compliance with all current Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations.
  • Removal and disposal of buildings, foundations, above ground level, sign footings/bases, stem walls, steps, brush, dead trees and broken limbs
  • Removal and disposal of shrubs, bricks, or stone and all rubbish, scrap iron and general debris.
  • Waste material including both asbestos containing and non-asbestos containing waste are disposed of in compliance with all current Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations and the Specifications.
