Design Build-DPW North Salt Dome

Description

DMC was retained as the General Contractor by the City of Detroit, Department of Public Works (DPW) for providing Design and Construction of Roof structure. The scope also included construction of new roofing system on the existing footing and wall at the North Salt Dome. The project was located at 5800 Russell Ave, Detroit, MI. The design and Construction was based on utilization of the existing concrete footings and foundation retaining wall. The scope included the electrical lighting and mechanical venting systems. The electrical works are complied with the current International Building Code and the Construction Specification Institute (CSI) Codes.

  • Selective demolition of all partition walls and all non-load bearing structures

  • Rough and finish carpentry work outside the building
