Description

This project consisted of the full renovation of 32 residential units at Forest Park Apartments, including complete interior demolition, structural repairs, and system upgrades. During demolition, significant termite damage was identified in floor joists and wall studs, requiring pest treatment and full replacement of affected framing to restore structural integrity. The work included new mechanical, plumbing, and electrical installations completed to current code standards, along with all required permitting and successful city inspections. Final construction phases included interior finishes such as painting, doors, cabinetry, and fixtures, as well as exterior improvements including gutter and downspout replacement, window trim work, and selective siding repairs. The project was awarded in February 2024, construction commenced in mid-August 2024 following city blight clearance, and substantial completion was achieved in June 2025.
