DMC was retained as the Prime Contractor by Wayne State University to renovate 30,000 SF area on the 4th floor. WSU wanted to renovate the entire 4th floor of the State Hall Building to convert it into classrooms, located at 5143 Cass Avenue. All work is performed on Wayne State’s main campus in Detroit Michigan.
There was a lot of coordination required as there were ongoing classes on the other floors during the performance of this contract. We had to pay special attention to shutdowns, construction traffic, dust and noise during the construction phase. This was a Union Job.
DMC has special emphasis on safety on this project. We had zero incidents on this project.
