Description

DMC Consultants Inc. served as the General Contractor under a Design-Build delivery for the reconstruction of approximately 5 acres of parking at the Detroit Police Department Training Academy, creating over 220 parking spaces.

The scope included site clearing, grading, and construction of a new paved parking lot with an underground stormwater detention system, along with parking lot lighting, fencing, concrete islands, and full-site landscaping. Work was performed alongside ongoing interior renovations, requiring close coordination across multiple trades.

This project highlights DMC’s expertise in municipal site development and large-scale exterior improvements.
